Audrey Hepburn plays a pretty big role in the history of taudrey pretties.

taudrey audrey hepburn

Ever wonder where the name "taudrey" comes from? Well, here's your first official lesson in taudrey history.

Designer and Owner Tiffany Dominguez has always admired the sophisticated style, charm and wit of film and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn. And no, not only because of "Breakfast at Tiffany's." But yes, that did have something to do with it.

When Tiffany started her brand, she wanted to have it represent the sophistication, timelessness and dash of quirk and fun that Hepburn always exuded, and so she decided to pay homage to Mrs. Hepburn through the name of her company. Tiffany fused the first letter of her name with "Audrey" to form "T.Audrey." As the company's popularity grew, fans began pronouncing the name as one word, "taudrey," and Tiffany went along with it. The rest is truly, personalized jewelry history.

Offering dainty, simple designs with unexpected sass that highlight beauty rather than distract, Tiffany's styles are always a nod to Audrey Hepburn. And so it seemed only natural that taudrey have a full collection properly named after the star. In celebration of taudrey's 7th year, the #taudsquad selected the most beloved classic pieces, including Tiffany's very first design (the Gold Autograph Plate), to form the Hepburn Collection.

In our opinion, every #taudreygirl needs the full collection. I mean, at least to get things started.
